Lauren Ausubel provides a friendly, welcoming instructional environment in which students can thrive as musicians.  She is keenly aware of her students' potential, and always inspires them to achieve a higher level of playing.  She creates opportunities for her students to partake in a community of performers, such as in the OBMF, which she co-organizes, and encourages them to participate in competitions, master classes, and recitals.  Lauren is very communicative with her students' parents. She shared with me regularly about my daughter's progress, and couched us through the college application and audition process.  I believe Lauren literally helped our daughter achieve her goal to study flute performance at a prestigious conservatory.
